Quenton Truett Stephens, age 75, of Jamestown, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Born on July 15, 1945, in Russell Springs, he was a son of the late George and Fairlee Hopper Stephens.

Quenton was a logger and a farmer for most of his life. He truly enjoyed working. Quenton was a very loving person. He liked to collect guns and Case knives. Quenton attended Solid Rock Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include
his wife, Betty Gossage Stephens, of Jamestown;
son, David (and Tammy) Stephens, of Russell Springs;
three daughters, Donita (and Mike) Spoon, Lori (and Tim) Akin, and Sheila (and Bill) Brown, all of Columbia;
two brothers, Jimmy (and Wilma) Stephens, of Campbellsville, and Elmer Stephens, of Russell Springs;
two sisters, Kathleen (and Larry) Holt, and Clotene Estes, both of Eubank; four grandchildren, Brandon (and Lacey) Spoon, Tashina (and Ryan) Herron, Parker Akin, Benjamin Akin, all of Columbia;
one step-grandchild, Braydon Edmonds, of Columbia;
two great-grandchildren, Nora Spoon and Jenna Spoon, with another great-grandchild on the way;
a very close great-nephew, Zachary Nicholson; and great-niece, Madison Nicholson.
Quenton is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart.

In addition to his parents, Quenton was preceded in death by six brothers, Ralph Stephens, Paul Stephens, Genis Stephens, John Stephens, Homer Stephens, and Glen Stephens; and two sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Clydene George; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Burton and Cody Burton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Keith and Bro. Troy McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow in the Rexroat Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 3:00PM Sunday, at Bernard Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for Quenton will be Doug Stephens, Curt George, Eric Estes, Zachary Nicholson, Gary Stephens, and Ryan Herron.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Spoon.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
