Born May 7, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Milton Pettit and Ann Howe Ashton. He married Marie Carlson, August 21, 1953, Salt Lake City; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 21, 1957. He worked for Utah Power and Light for 34 years. At the time of retirement he was a Design Drafter.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13 th 1992 at 1 Pm at the Central Park Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2700 South 300 East in Salt Lake City. Friends and Family attended a Viewing at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville on Tuesday Evening from 6-8 Pm and also on Wednesday One Hour Prior to the Services at the Ward.
Graveside Services followed at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery in Taylorsville, Utah where he was buried.
