Bessie P. Moore, 84, of Highspire, died Monday in Integrated Health Services of Hershey at the Woodlands. She was a homemaker and a native of Granville Twp., Mifflin County. She was the widow of James T. Moore and was predeceased by a companion, Lee Casner. Surviving are two sons, Charles W. of Savannah, Ga., and Raymond K. of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Donna L. Hummel of Johnston, R.I., and Kay E. Moore of Highspire; a brother, John Schmidt of Lewistown RD 4; a sister, Alma Schilling of Shinglehouse; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown. Hoenstine Funeral Home, Lewistown, is handling arrangements.
