Born in Port Arthur, Texas he resided in Port Arthur most of his life, but recently moved to Lake Charles. He was a member of East Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a 1997 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.
Brian was survived by his mother, Linda January; father, Arceneaux January; four children, Dominique Thomas Birdsong , Alexis Birdsong, Sicily Keal Birdsong, and Zoe Keal Birdsong; four sisters, Stacy (Craig) Lebeaux, Caroline Birdsond, Jennie January (Josh) Hardy and Brandi January; brother, Ronald (Hope) January; grandmothers, Ethel January and Erna (William) Jones and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
