Galien- Services for Beverly Ray Sheets, 69, of 211 Grant St., who died at 4:35 pm Monday in Berrien General Hospital, Berrien Center, will be at 2 pm Thursday in Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Burial will be in Galien Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Sheets was a retired truck driver. He was born April 6, 1918, in Fort Wayne, Ind., and lived in the Galien area since 1945. On Dec. 18, 1950, in Angola, Ind. he married Vera Pinney. She died Feb 20, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, Terry and Gary, both of Buchanan; a step daughter, Linda Kunne of Galien; a stepson, Ray Vincent of Galien; 12 grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Mr. Sheets was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Buchanan Veterans of Foreign Wars.
