Lucille Skidmore Smith, 57, of Cucamonga, Cal., died Wednesday, March 22, 1978, in San Antonio Hospital in Upland, Cal.
She was born April 2, 1921, at Sutton, W. VA., the daughter of Stanton E. and the late Lottie Gillespie Skidmore.
She is survived by five sons, David Lee of Cucamonga, Robert E. of Ontario, Cal., Ralph S. and Richard S. of Upland, and John Frederick of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Cynthia McAuley of Upland, Mrs. Karen Gazley, of Alta Loma, Cal., Mrs. Kathleen Johnson of Rosenberg, Tex., Mrs. Rebecca Jean Williams of Cucamonga, and Patricia Smith of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Jeanne Boylan, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Stanalene Anderson of Topeka, Kan.; two brothers, Arden Skidmore of Media, Pa. and Kermit Skidmore of Kingwood; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Smith in 1977.
