Born on June 24, 1944 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Howard and Connie McKinney Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; William, Jack, James, and Sidney Hall and his sisters; Margaret Robinson and Mary Lou Howell.
Harry was retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of CW3. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA and was a former member of the Berry Chapel Baptist Church in Spruce Pine.
He loved spending time with all of his family and especially his children and grandchildren. Most importantly to Harry was his relationship with the Lord and left a legacy of love. In his spare time, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
