Mrs. Evie Adams, 94, of Athens Nursing Home, Athens, died Wednesday at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Lester.

The funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with A.J. Rollins officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elzie Evans of Granite City, Illinois; a son, Frank Adams of Athens; two brothers, George Adams of Yazoo City, MS, and Lonnie Adams of Nashville, TN; a sister, Mrs. Alice Lewis of Huntsville; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
