Obituary of Quinell Bodie Oden Gammel
Funeral services for Ms. Quinell Bodie Oden Gammel are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, May 1, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. David Sistrunk officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens.
Ms. Gammel, a member of North Bastrop Church of God, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the age of ninety. She enjoyed spending time with her family and singing specials at church. Ms. Gammel also loved flowers, plants and going fishing.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Smith Oden and wife Belinda; grandchildren, Carla Caston, Eric Green and wife Crystal, Hannah Hiller and husband Brian, Zachary Oden and Taylor LaBorde; great-grandchildren, Cody Caston, Brieann Green, Carson Oden, Brantley Oden, Hawk Oden, Avree Hiller, Rowan Hiller, Rylan Hiller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Gammel is preceded in death by her parents, John and Addie Bodie; husbands, Robert Smith Oden and Reuben Gammel; daughter, Brenda Nell Green; four sisters and two brothers.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Green, Zachary Oden, Danny McGrew, Dale Turman, Brian Hiller and Ruel Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Green and Rusty Gean.
