Mildred Vernice Diamond went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 19, 2007. She was born in Chumuckla, Florida on April 19, 1926, but lived most of her life in Pensacola, Florida. She retired from Monsanto. She was a charted member of Pine Forest Assembly of God Church. She loved her church and her many friends. She taught Sunday School for many years. She helped so many people out of depression with words of much wisdom. She was loved by all. The first thing upon awakening she read her Bible to start her day. She was a saint and a blessing to all. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Diamond; parents, John and Addie Bodie; sister, Shirley Foley; brothers, A.J. and William Bodie; and daughter-in-law, Donna Diamond. She leaves behind her children that loved her dearly and will miss calling or going by to check on her and end each conversation with "I Love You Mama," Jerry Diamond (Louise), Janice Diamond Pittman (Larry) and George Diamond; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Imogene Gold (Floyd), Nell Oden and Audrey Sanders (Mike); and numerous nieces and nephews.
