Funeral Service for Maxine Mae Crawford, 79, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 30, 1942 in Chouteau, Oklahoma to Mary Margaret (Duffield) Thomason and Wesley Charles Thomason and passed away on April 27, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Jimmie Dean Crawford on April 22, 1978 in Stigler, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2013. She was a dedicated employee of Charles and Edith Smith, an educator and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

5 daughters: Gail Howell and Randy of Cimmaron, TN, Susie Brown and Guillermo Neri of Sallisaw, OK, Martha Rodgers and Randall Kennedy of Gans, OK, Rena Hart of Glencoe, OK and Sherry Philpot and Charles of Sallisaw, OK;

7 sons: Rob Waters and Jill of Barling, AR, Eddie Crawford and Cindy of Tallahassee, FL, Kevin Crawford of Glencoe, OK, Keith Crawford and Erin of Glencoe, OK, Larry Crawford of Glencoe, OK, David Crawford of Sallisaw, OK and Wayne Davis and Andrea of Glencoe, OK;

numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren;

6 sisters: Debbie Wright of Kingwood, TX, Susie Emerson of Oklahoma City, OK, Pam Thomason of Oklahoma City, OK, Gayle Thomason of Oklahoma City, OK, Robin Forga of Lillian, AL and Margie Lou Boggs of Lillian, AL;

2 brothers: Joe Thomason of Vian, OK and Mike Thomason of Warner, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Waters, Harold Rodgers and Jim Crawford; her parents; two sisters, Charlene Kirkes and Betty Jo Lemaster; and one brother, Jim Thomason.

Pallbearers will be Gene Brown, Keith Crawford, Kevin Crawford, Eddie Crawford, Damon Rozell and Travis Cavett.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Thursday, 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
