Abraham Holländer was born on October 27, 1860 in Eschweiler, Germany, the son of 30 year old Benjamin Holländer, a dealer in Eschweiler, and Sara Menken. On June 19, 1893 he married Rosalie Stern. Abraham was a member of the synagogue community in Aachen from 1895-1905. In 1913, Abraham acquired around 18,000 square meters of land on Grüner Weg in Aachen with a siding and built processing facilities for iron and metals as well as warehouses for rags and waste paper on it. He passed away on January 19, 1927 in Aachen, Germany, leaving his wife Rosalie, and children behind.
