Henriette Defries-Holländer, age 77, was the daughter of Benjamin Holländer and Sara Holländer-Menken, and the widow of Simon Defries, who died in 1939. From 1939 she lived with Aron Mozes Zendijk: she was a sister-in-law of his mother-in-law. Henriette was a victim of the Holocaust. She was killed at Auschwitz extermination camp. She was the sister of Abraham Holländer, the aunt of Edith Frank-Holländer and the great-aunt of diarist Anne Frank and her sister Margot.
