She was born in West Virginia, April 8, 1835, and in 1847 moved to Coles county, Illinois. and was married to J. C. Ingraham at Charleston, Illinois March 23, 1854. To them were born eight children, four survive; George W. and R. E. of Kansas City; J. D. of St. Louis, and Belle who has lived with mother. Miss Bell will make her home with her brother George in Kansas City.
