Angeline Carroll Davis, 84, of the Fratersville community in Lake City, passed away Oct. 7 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1925 in Scott County to the late Hugh and Lottie Lowe Carroll. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, Lady VOLS, Tennessee Titans, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis; children, Lottie Davis McGhee, Laura Davis Barnwell, Viner J. Davis Harness, Jerry D. Davis, Baby Boy Davis, Shermie Ann Davis, Robbie Davis and Mary Davis Lee; son in laws; Donal Lee, Shag Barnwell, Charlie Norris, Charles McGhee, Frank Higdon; several brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Angeline is survived by Step-Son James E. (Corene) Davis, Sons; Ransom J. Davis, Charles R. Davis (Vickie), Benny L. Davis, Billy (Tammy), Johnny (Dustin) & Terry W. (Susie) Davis; Step-daughters, Louise Davis Nance, Emma Davis Norris (Charlie), Daughters; Nancy Davis Higdon, Virda Davis, Shirley (James E. Childs), Sister; Ivolee C. Shoopman; many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family; 32 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Oct. 11 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Mac Marlow and Rev. Hubert Marlow officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
