Mary E. Kimble, 61, of Peoria Heights, passed away at 7:13 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence.
Mary was born in Peoria, IL on July 21, 1959, a daughter to Robert "Bob" W. Koontz and Claris Deane (McNinch) Phillips. She married Martin Kimble on July 31, 1999 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving Mary are her four sons, Andy Dunn, Tim (Rachael) Dunn, Jesse Dunn, and Ben Dunn; two step-sons, Ryan (Rachel) Kimble and Michael Kimble; two sisters, Brenda Miller and Linda (Troy) Henderson; a brother, Ben (Tiffani) Koontz; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John D. Koontz.
Mary worked at Federal Warehouse in East Peoria for many years, last working as a moving coordinator. Previously, she had worked for the American Mausoleum in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A ceremony will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for both Mary and her brother, John, in the Prairie Gardens at Springdale Cemetery.
