Donna Adams Washburn was born the 6th of May 1928 in Blanding, UT to Lloyd and Allie Adams. She had two older brothers who died as infants and was the middle of three daughters.

Donna enjoyed growing up in Blanding. After graduating from San Juan High, she attended the University of Utah where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

She married Clem Elson Washburn on July 31, 1951 in Blanding. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Clem and Donna lived the majority of their lives in Monticello, UT where they raised their six children. She taught kindergarten through third grade at Monticello Elementary School for about 25 years, influencing many young lives.

Donna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings, including as a temple worker in Manti and in Monticello.

She loved her garden, quilting, reading, her pets, and cooking. She was involved in Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and many community clubs.

Her highest priority was that of supporting and loving her family. She was kept busy the last decades of her life being on hand as grandchildren were born or died, baptized, honored, graduated, served missions, and married.

She generously remembered everyone on their special occasions. She crocheted a blanket for the arrival of each new baby and made a quilt for each high school graduate. She welcomed anyone to her home and treated them like royalty.

Donna passed away on the 15th of April 2021 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters (Paula Jones and Virginia Redd), grandchildren Alisa Johnson Linton and Brett Jackson, grandson-in-law Kevin Jeffs, and granddaughter-in-law Eliza Evans, great-grandchildren Louisa Blodgett and Daniel Blodgett.

She is survived by daughters Stephanie Chapman (Reid), Denise Taylor, Jill Johnson (Paul), Laurie Simpson (Barry), Lisa Jackson (Wade); son Brain Washburn (Claudia); 32 grandchildren; and 91 great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
