Harry McElhaney Of Warren Dies
Harry W. McElhaney, 61, died suddenly at 11 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Warren after suffering a heart attack.
Born Feb. 20, 1910 in Salamonie Twp., Huntington County, he was a son of Elijah M. and Ida E. Hunnicutt McElhaney. His marriage to Ruby D. Oxley, who survives, took place Jan. 24, 1932 in Warren.
Mr. McElhaney, owner and operator of Mac's Oil Co. of Warren, was a member of the Church of Christ at Warren.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Sharlie Lou) Rudig of Huntington, a sister Mrs. Velma Sisson of Marion, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Steve Harris, assisted by Rev. Leland Paul, will officiate and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Warren.
