Susanna was the daughter of Peter Bricker and Rebecca Simon.
She married on May 21, 1871, to John Yarian.

Yarian Susanna was born in Columbiana County, O., on a farm near Teegarden, August 4, 1851. When six weeks old she moved with her parents, Peter Bricker and family, in covered wagon to Noble County, locating on a farm west of Swan near the Bethlehem Church. On May 21, 1871 she married John Yarian. They located on a farm near the Swan Center school house, where she spent the remainder of her life. They had three sons and five daughters - one daughter preceding her in death. There remains the husband, the sons, Francis of Detroit, Mich., Melvin and Seckle of near this place; the daughters, Mrs. Guy Hart of Kendallville, Mrs. Harry Stewart, Mrs. Charles Whonsetler, Mrs. R. T. Pfleidner; seven grandchildren; one brother, George S. Bricker, LaOtto; one sister, Mrs. Oscar Alberts of Mishawaka. When a girl she united with the Bethlehem Lutheran Church to which vow she remained true to the last. She died Sunday at the age of 65 years 9 months and 2 days. Funeral at Bethlehem Church Tuesday. Burial in the cemetery nearby.
