Twilla Mae (Pottridge) Maxwell of Eufaula, Oklahoma (formerly of Wister, Oklahoma) was born on December 31, 1926 in Bates, Arkansas to Ed and Talitha (Thompson) Pottridge and passed away on March 31, 2021 in Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

She is survived by:

One daughter:

Dara Renee Vann of Choctaw, Oklahoma

Two sons:

Robert E. Maxwell of Eufaula, Oklahoma

Paul "Ricky" Maxwell of Choctaw, Oklahoma

One sister:

Shirley Brothers of Danville, Arkansas

One brother:

Gary Pottridge of Bates, Arkansas

Six grandchildren

14 great-grandchildren

2 great-great-grandchildren

Numerous other relatives, cousins, and dear friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Talitha Pottridge; and her husband, Marvin Maxwell. Twilla was a long-time resident of the area, a homemaker, and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Twilla will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Larry McElyea officiating. Interment will follow in Weeks Cemetery in the Weeks Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
