Jean Landon Lefevre, 58, of Waukesha, Wis., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Hospice of Metro Denver in Aurora, Colo.

She was born July 6, 1949, in Garden City, to Jay Dean and Mary Constance Harman Landon. She grew up in Garden City, graduated in 1967 from Garden City High School and attended Garden City Community College.

Mrs. Lefevre had lived in Spokane, Wash., where she was the owner of two businesses, "Jean's Chauteau Petit" and "Animal Crackers." She moved to Wichita to study at Wichita State University to become a dental hygienist. She then worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Michael Richard in Garden City and for the past 10 years worked for Dr. Skarr in Waukesha. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, enjoyed scrapbooking and especially enjoyed her travels to Italy.

On Oct. 3, 1969, she married Randall Keith Lefevre. They later divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Lefevre of Denver; a sister, Kathy Strand of Garden City; a brother, Rusty Landon of Deerfield; her father and stepmother, Jay Dean and Joan Landon of Garden City; a nephew; a niece; a great-nephew; and eight stepbrothers and stepsisters. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Connie and Bill Foster.

Funeral was at the United Methodist Church, Deerfield, with the Rev. Jim Pollom officiating. Burial was in Deerfield Cemetery.
