DIED. On Thursday morning last, Mrs. Esther Noxon, wife of Doctor Robert Noxon, of this town. In her death, a husband has to bemoan the loss of an affectionate wife, and a numerous offspring an indulgent mother. A funeral sermon, adopted to the occasion, was preached by the Rev Mr [Philander] Chase, at the Episcopal Church, on Saturday, and her remains interred in the Episcopal churchyard, attended by a large concourse of friends and relations.
