Lawrence Arnold Butler, 94, of Sutherlin, passed away on April 3, 2021, at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation, Danville. He was born on May 23, 1926, in Draper, NC, to Frank D. Butler and Vera Robertson Butler. He was a farmer and he was a member of Kerns Memorial United Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Army, during World War II.
He is survived by a son, Charles Woodson (Jeanette); his daughter, Nancy McBride; sister-in-law, Chrys Woodson. He was also predeceased by his wife, Frances Moore Butler; brother, Howard Butler; son, Harold Woodson.
Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Danville.
