Howard Oliver “Jack” Butler, 89, of Danville, passed away on March 26, 2018 at Riverside Health Center. Jack was born in Halifax County, to Frank D. Butler and Vera Robertson Butler. He was a graduate of Turbeville High School. He served as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces during the Korean War. He worked at Link-Watson as a chainsaw repairman, then as a supervisor at Disston Tools. He is survived by his wife, Delores B. Butler; a son, William H. Butler (Kate); daughters, Jeanne B. Richardson (Lee) and Beth B. Webb (Kenn); three grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Butler.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
