Edith A. Sulentic, nee Adams, 80, of Belleville, Ill., born Feb. 24, 1923, in Bassett, Ark., died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Sulentic was a retired clerk for St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., and the Perpetual Help Society.
Mrs. Sulentic was preceded in death by her husband, Anton E. Sulentic; and her parents, Willie and Ivah, nee Wroten, Adams.
Surviving are two sons, William (Barbara) Sulentic of O'Fallon, Ill., and Joseph (Linda) Sulentic of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Sandra (Michael) Lawson of Swansea, Ill., and Sharyn (Remington) Logue of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three brothers, Eddie (Anne) Adams of Bassett, Ark., William (Marguarite) Adams of Houston, Texas, and Hugh (Anne) Adams of Bassett, Ark.; two sisters, Ivah (Vincent) Totino of Belleville, Ill., and Billie (Nathan) Wilson of Belleville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Heart Association.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2003, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Monsignor Donald Eichenseer officiating. Burial will be in Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
