Daughter of James Stinson Currier (1811-1896) and Marcia (Houghton) Currier (1818-1893).

Wife of Francis Egerton Smith, married May 13, 1873 in Norwich, VT. Mother of:
1. Arthur Whitmore Smith (1874-1954),
2. Ellen Lois Smith (1876-1877),
3. Dr. Houghton Currier Smith (1877-1954),
4. Honora Elizabeth Smith (1880-1906),
5. James Francis Smith (1881-1937),
6. Eva Margaret Smith (1884-1930),
7. Anne Eliza Smith (1892-1981).

Per Michigan death certificate, she was buried in Norwich, Vermont; name of cemetery not given. Her obituary in The Landmark, White River Junction, VT 04 Dec 1930 page 1 states "Interment was in the family lot at Norwich."

Her birth record lists her name as Ann Eliza Currier. Later records have her name as Eliza Ann.

Update 3/31/2021: I have checked with the town clerks in Norwich and Hartford (for White River Junction) and neither can find any record of them in the town cemetery records. Someone found her named on the stone in the Hillside cemetery in Norwich, VT with husband and 2 daughters, Ellen and Honora.
