John Wesley Norton, a resident of Chicago for twenty years and a son of Erastus Norton, a pioneer of Methodism in Illinois, died at 4 a. m. yesterday in his home, 3231 Park avenue. He was afflicted with a complication of heart and kidney trouble. The decedent was born in Cherry Valley, Ill., near Rockford, in 1850.
