Bonnie was born on December 18, 1944 in Yakima, Washington to Margaret (Weichelt) and Raymond Scully. She passed away at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle on August 16, 2017.

Bonnie graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Yakima and the University of Washington in Seattle. She retired from US West Communications where she worked for many years in management. She also volunteered every week at Children's Hospital in Seattle for 10+ years.

She enjoyed Fifth Avenue plays, the ballet, operas and dance performances at the University of Washington. For years she directed plays for the seminarian fund raisers at St. Edward Seminary in Seattle. Bonnie had a very generous spirit and had a particular soft spot in her heart for animals.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Joy Froehlich; brother, Daniel Scully and his wife, Pat, of Yakima. She is also survived by her nephews, Joel (Tammy) Froehlich and their daughters Michelle and Kristin; Jesse (Chris) Froehlich and their daughters, Kim (Joey) Wallberg and their children Dalton, Mya, Kaleb and Teigan, and daughter Kari (Jamie) Thompson and their son Austin; Jerome (Teresa) Froehlich and their daughter Chelsea (Kirtis) Norvell; and her nieces, Christina (Bill) Sauriol and their daughters, Bethany, Alyssa (Steve) Furst, and Kaelen; Sandra Riley and her son Sean; Lori Hadley and her children, Alayna, Haylie, Peyton and Emma. She is also survived by her step-nephew, Joe McClain and his daughter Heather and son James, and her step-niece, Charlotte McClain Barajas and her sons Darryl and Martín and daughters, Serenity, Luisa and Juanita.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother-in-law, Jerry Froehlich, nephew Daniel Shawn Scully and former sister-in-law, Judy Scully.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am in St. Paul Cathedral in Yakima. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or your local Humane Shelter.
