YAKIMA - Margaret Scully was born on Oct.2, 1916 in Solon Springs, Wisconsin to Myrtle (Beers) Weichelt and Max Weichelt. She joined her Lord on April 12, 2007.

Margaret loved to crochet and made an afghan for each of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few friends. She was known for her kind, caring and gentle spirit. As a member of St. Paul Cathedral she belonged to the Prayer and Rosary groups and assisted residents at Good Samaritan Health Care Center for many years with Mass and the Rosary. She also served others in the community by cleaning their homes, and driving them to doctor appointments, shopping and other errands.

When she was a child, her family moved to Crookston, Minnesota where she graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She married Raymond Scully and they moved to the Yakima area.

She is survived by her children, Joy Froehlich, Daniel Scully and his wife Pat of Yakima, Bonita Scully of Seattle, and former daughter-in-law Judy Scully of Yakima.
