CORNING — Billy Cavener III, 43, of Corning died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, in Pocahontas.
Cavener was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Pocahontas. He was a machine operator at Mid-Continent Nail in Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Cavener was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Cavener.
Survivors include his father, Bill Cavener Jr. of Corning; his stepmother, Jean Cavener of Corning; two brothers, Leon "Junior" Stacy and Larry Stacy, both of Corning; three sisters, Peggy McKinney of Naylor, Tanya Starkes of Jonesboro and Judy Laughlin of Fredricksburg, Va.; and Mel Jackson of Jonesboro.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight in Ermert Funeral Home at Corning.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Chris Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery at Reyno.
