In Verona, N. Y., Aug. 13th, 1870, at the residence of his father, Eld. H. Stillman, Elias I. Stillman, in the 24th year of his age. The subject of this notice professed religion at the age of sixteen, and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church of Otsilix, where he retained his membership until his death. His last sickness, which was long and painful, he bore with Christian fortitude and patience, evincing an unwavering trust in the Saviour, and died in the triumph of faith. He leaves a wife and child to mourn his early death; but their loss is his eternal gain.
