CLYDE WILSON
Clyde Wilson Dies
Clyde Wilson, 49, a resident of Pendleton the past six years, who had been a meat cutter at the Pioneer Meat Co. in Pend-Air Heights, died Tuesday night at St. Anthony's hospital here. He had been ill with cancer for several years. Funeral will be at Daniel's Funeral Home, La Grande, Friday, 2 p.m. The Rev Howard Schilling of the First Conservative Baptist Church, Hermiston, will officiate. Mr. Wilson was born in McCook, Neb., July 17, 1905, and lived in La Grande from 1912 to 1948 when he moved to Pend-Air Heights here. He continued his work until just before Christmas. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow Ella; two daughters Mrs. Delbert Hall, McNary, and Alice Wilson, Pendleton; three brothers, Tom of Pendleton, Charles of La Grande, and Jim in California; Half-Brother William Wasters, Yakima; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Oliver, Murtaugh, Ida., and Mrs. Edgar Kelley, Salem; Half-Sister Mrs. Junie Downs, in California. Two grandsons and many nieces and Nephews.
