Allen William Wilson, 74, a former railroad employ, died here Sunday. Survivors include his widow and the following children: Thomas of Pendleton, Alice, Charles, Clyde and Mrs. Nellie Kelly of La Grande; Lester and James of Long Beach, Cal; Mrs. Jim Downs of San Francisco, and WM. Waters of Yakima. Wash.
ALLEN W. WILSON DIES HERE ABOUT NOON ON SUNDAY
Following a short illness, Allen William Wilson died at his home at 1519 Jackson avenue about noon Sunday, Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Snodgrass and Zimmerman mortuary, with Rev. J. George Walz, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial will take place in the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Wilson a former employee of the railroad. had made his home here the last 22 years. Born in Illinois Sept 16, 1861 he was 74 years, two months and 15 days of age. Besides his widow, Bridgie, he leaves the following children: Thomas of Pendleton, Alice, Charles, Clyde Wilson and Mrs. Nellie Kelly, all of La Grande Lester A. Wilson and James Wilson. of Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Jim Downs, of San Francisco, and WM. Waters, of Yakima, Wash.

Obit states, POB as Pontiac, Livingston, IL this is where he grow up, he was born in Decatur, Iowa. At the end of the Civil War in 1865 his parents moved to IL.
