Guy Thomas Cyphert,72,of 130 south Jefferson Place,Clarion,died Friday,at Clarion Hosp. Born Jan.14,1913 Clarion,the on of Herbert and sarah Alice(McClain)Cyphert.He married the former Laura Mae Kerr on June 28,1933.She died June 15,1981.He was retired butcher and meat cutter.he was retired police officer from Clarion State College. Mr.Cyphert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarion.He was an honoray member of the Clarion Fire Department. He also belongs to the I.O.O.F. Chapter at Clarion Fraternal Order of the police 68 of Reynoldsville. In addition to his wife and parents,he was preceded in death by five sisters,and three brothers,and one grandson. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm. today and from 2to4 and 7to9pm.on Sunday at the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion.Funeral services will be held at 2pm.Monday in the funeral home with the Rev.Dale V.Salico,pastor of the First Baptist Church,officiating,Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
