Son of: George Adam Friese and Jane 'Janie' Counts

Husband of: Laura Inez Bragg Fries

Father of: James Walter, John Albert and
Katie Laurie Fries Beard

Notice they changed the spelling of their last name from Friese to Fries.

Buried at McDonald Cemetary, Sylvania, Georgia. Grave is un-marked and very difficult to locate. Go through gate on right side of church. Go right (about three rows). Turn left and preceed toward center of yard. Approximately half way between the front fence and the rear of the cemetary, William (Bill) Friese's grave lies. It has a nice white slab with his name, etc. engraved. Just on the other side of this slab is a bare spot. The bare spot is Adam's grave. There is no marking, no slab. Just a couple of bricks to mark his grave.

Buried beside his father and mother... George Adam and Jannie Counts Friese.

Adam was a handsome man. When he was younger he left his wife and family. His wife, Laura Inez Bragg Fries, had to pick cotton and sew for people just to make enough money to feed their three children.

His life was cut short due to a massive heart attack that happened while he was standing in the doorway of a friend's house. He fell dead due to the heart attack.
