Katie Laurie was known as Laurie most of her life. After she became a senior citizen everyone called her Katie. Katie was born and raised in Sylvania, Screven, County, Georgia. She was an excellent quilter and made many beautiful quilts. She never learned to drive a car and was a stay-at-home mom.
She is greatly missed by all.
