At her home in this city on Saturday morning, May 22nd, 1880, of consumption, Miss Annie Meloy, aged about 30 years. The aged parents and relatives of the deceased have the sympathy of the entire community in the hour of their greatest bereavement, for no one but the father and mother can feel the pangs caused by the death of one so dear.
Scarcely two years ago Frank, a promising young man, was called from them, and now the death of Annie must be a crushing blow indeed.
The funeral took place at 10 am Monday. Requiem High Mass was celebrated in the Catholic church, at the close of which Rev. Father Hannon delivered a beautiful tribute on the life and character of the deceased.
