"The Paris News", 2 Dec 1974. James Grafton Cleere, 74, of 203 W Sherman died al 11 25 p m Saturday at the Veterans Administrator Hospital in Bonham. Funeral services were to be at 2 p m Monday in Gene Roden's Sons Chapel with the Rev Presley Hutchens as officiating minister. Burial was to be in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Mr Cleere was born June 24, 1900, in Paris, the son of Malcolm Walker Cleere and Lou Tennie Cleere. He was retired from the American Box Factory. He had lived in this vicinity all his life. He was a Methodist. He served in World War II.

Surviviors include three sisters, Mrs. Wirt Buster, Mrs Oscar Williams and Mrs. William P. Appel; and three brothers, John Cleere, Duane Cleere and Rush Cleere.
