South Amboy - Arlene Balzaretti Foschini, 81, of South Amboy died on Saturday March 13, 2021 at home. Born in Union City she was employed as a second grade teacher there. She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, South Amboy. She enjoyed taking care of her home and was very supportive of her family, especially as the motivating force behind her husband's illustrious 50 year career at Bell Laboratories.
Daughter of the late Charles and Rose Carrea Balzaretti she is survived by her husband Gerard Foschini; her daughter Darlene Field and her husband Shawn; her son Charles Foschini and his wife Ana; her former daughter-in-law Elsa Foschini and her grandchildren Avery Field, Dominic Foschini, Aidan Field and Nicolette Foschini.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church followed by entombment in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
