Mary Elizabeth Baker, 84, of Weatherford, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at her residence. Born January 21, 1923, in Russellville, Ala., she was a resident of Weatherford for the last 45 years. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of South Main Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, P.O. and Minnie Letson and three sisters, Dellielou Knighten, Marie Hampton and Francis Rhoten.Survivors include her husband, W.C. "Bill" Baker of Weatherford; sister, Ann Bevil of Lake Worth; sisters-in-law, Betty, Louise and Doris; cousin, Mary Lou Teich and husband, Kenneth, of Cresson; nephew, Gary Bevil of Weatherford; nieces, Cheryl Whitely and Janice Graves. Graveside service is 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Springtown Cemetery with Minister Murphy Phillips officiating.
