Mary Lou Beckenbach, age 87, of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Hunter Acres Caring Center in S13417870ikeston, MO. She was born August 27, 1933 in Leeper, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Agnew) Britt.

Mary Lou worked for many years at Brown Shoe Company and was of the Baptist faith. She was married to George C. Beckenbach and he passed away September 13, 1976. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Clarence and Mabel Britt, 1 son, DeWayne Beckenbach, 5 sisters, Anna Brown, Thelma Buffington, Myrtle Wyatt, Helen Hackworth and Joy Britt; 6 brothers, Clarence Britt, Jr., Clyde Mathis, Gary Mathis, Richard Mathis, Bill Mathis and Jim Mathis; and 1 grandchild, Sara Foster.

Survivors include 6 children, Danny Beckenbach, of Mill Spring, George Beckenbach, of Piedmont, William Beckenbach, of Mill Spring, Cindy Clark, of Piedmont, Rose Mary Gromer, of Piedmont, Linda Beckenbach, of Piedmont; 1 brother, Jerry Mathis, of Leeper, 5 sisters, Hattie Messmer, of Imperial, MO, Martha Buxton, of High Ridge, MO, Joyce Johnson, of Piedmont, Imogene Prince, of OFallon, MO and Gladys Bumb, of St. Louis.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 12 PM Monday at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM Monday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Richard Sanders officiating.

Interment will be in the Clays Cemetery.
