Mary Alice 'Mollie" was the daughter of William Knight and Emerilla Vaughn (Moser) Cowgur. At the age of 18, she married Charles Elmer Roberts. To this marriage two children were born; Roy Elmer Roberts (1900-1981) and Matilda Irene Roberts (1902-1986). They later divorced. At the age of 39, she remarried Roy Arno Reese. Mary died at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri due to ovarian cancer.
