Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Belle Efferson, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Boyce with Reverends Warren Langford and Marty Melancon officiating. Interment will be in Cotile Baptist Church Cemetery, Cotile, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Efferson, age 93, of Erath, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital, Abbeville, Louisiana. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt. She was a homemaker. She spent 62 wonderful years serving the Lord along side of her husband, Reverend W.H. Efferson, in many churches throughout Arkansas and Louisiana. She also served as a volunteer missionary under the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Reverend W.H. Efferson; parents, William and Pamela Meche.
She is survived one son, Danny Efferson (Nella) of Erath; honorary adopted son, David Im (Kaye) of South Korea; one daughter, Terry Gullick (Jack) of Erath; one brother Leo Val Meche (Lurnice) of Branch; brother-in-law, Larry Hendricks of Branch; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
