Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Coleman Arrington Sr., and Mildred Capps Arrington.
Mrs. Ayscue was retired from Revco Warehouse, and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, John Scott Ayscue; one son Bert Edgerton (Tammy); one daughter, Rachelle Wynne (Tim); five grandchildren, Mike Edgerton (Lisa), Kristin Edgerton (Chris), Chris Edgerton, Justin Glover (Lindsey), and Zack Morris (Tabitha); eight great-grandchildren, Cameron, Ace, and Axle Glover; Riley, Ayden, Levi, Sully Grey Edgerton; and Jace Morris; one brother, Marion “Big Boy” Arrington; and one sister, Ethel Hedgepeth of Henderson. Alongside her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Walker, Mary Hawkins, and Ida Mae Poythress; and three brothers Samuel “Doot” Arrington, Patrick Arrington Jr., and AA Arrington “Tootly”.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at New Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Jonathan Owens. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, those planning to attend the service, are asked to adhere to all CDC guidelines by wearing a face covering of some sort, and to practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund
