Daughter of Hezekiah Lyon and Cassandra Virgin.

Her father was a Private in Capt. Thompsom Ward's Company, Pogues's Regiment, Kentucky Militia, War of 1812. Hezekiah Lyons fought with Mad Anthony Wayne against Tecumseh at the Battle of Fallen Timber in 1792. He was married to Cassandra Virgin, born in 1783, daughter of Reason Virgin, and they became residents of Greenup.

She was born abt. 1809 and died about 1844.
