After a long and painful illness, Mrs. Emma Pridmore died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.A. Atkins, on North Third avenue, Monday afternoon. The remains were taken to Rowan cemetery, near Caledonia, Tuesday afternoon and interment took place there, funeral services having been conducted by Rev. T.E. Gregory, pastor of Central Methodist church.
The deceased was 67 years of age, and besides her daughter, Mrs. Atkins, is survived by one son, Mr. Simon Pridmore.
