Charles was the son of Ruben (Reuben) Harmon and Ida "Sarah" Sampson Randall. He was one of six known children and it appears that only three lived to adulthood. I believe he was probably a twin. He and Pearl show up in the Jun 1880 Census • Crawford Co., Wisconsin, USA as being one year old. That is the only census I find Pearl.

Siblings: Nelson Sampson, Pearl A. (Twin), Ida Leora (Arnot), Curtis and Albert Leon.

June 24, 1909 in St Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri he married Mary Ann McLaughlin (parentage unknown). He lists that he is from Solano county, CA on his marriage license which is where he and his mother moved to in order to be closer to his brother Nelson Sampson Randall.

He and Mary had five known children: Bertha Berndette, Nelda Nonine (Febus), Leora May, Helen Margaret (Owens) and Georgia Alice.

I have been unable to find an obituary for Charles but I was able to find his death certificate.

I have not found death or burial information for his father although it was before the 1900 Census.
