Her name was Esther "Essie" (Chapin) Shephard Carr Lebolt Finn (her fourth and final husband was Daniel Finn). She was born in August 1871 in New York to Nathaniel Foster and Elizabeth (Harris) Chapin, and was the youngest daughter of ten children born to them. She was the mother of Broshia and Albert Shephard, whose father was Joseph Shephard, Essie's first husband. (info from great great-grandniece)
