Garry Lynn Barrows, son of the late Esker Barrows and Ruth Ryan Barrows, was born February 26, 1946 in Danville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 20, 2021 at his home in Mount Olive, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Cleo Iva West December 8, 1973 in Jonesboro, Arkansas and together they raised three children. Garry spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He went on to retire from the National Guard after 24 years of service. Garry worked as an electrical engineer for ATT, retiring after 20 years of employment. He was an artist and enjoyed working with the Arkansas Craft Gallery in Mountain View. He was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as a church elder.

Garry is survived by his wife of 47 years: Cleo Barrows of the home; one son: Jonathan Barrows and wife Brittany of Dallas, Texas; one daughter: Sandy Dibble and husband Keith of Longview, Texas; one sister: Velma Sue Barrows of Jonesboro; two grandchildren: Grace Dibble and Kris Dibble and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Dustin Barrows.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Chris Anderson officiating. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn during the service.
