William Knolus McVey, 85, Anderson, died September 12, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born August 27, 1918 in Ingalls, Indiana, and resided in Anderson for the past 63 yrs. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in the 1970's. He attended 1st Pentecostal Church in Anderson
He is survived by his wife, Effie Wilhoite McVey, whom he married January 13, 1940, in Anderson, IN; Son, William D. of Stockbridge, GA and his wife Stephanie; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward & Goldie Weltcher McVey, a daughter, Janet Louise McVey Neff; and a brother, Cleo McVey.
